Wow! Can you believe that the trivia has been up for over 3 weeks and only one question got answered? And it was by another sports writer! Maybe ya'll can start off the new year with a better percentage. This years prizes are going to be envied by everyone that doesn't have one!
Do I really need to rant on LSU and their poor decision making during the BCS Championship game? I think we've all speculated enough and one thing is clear, Miles needs to stay away from the offensive scheme...Period!
The Saints will have to wait another year, you're not even suppose to even be in the game with 5 turnovers! I'm not sure what the Saints defensive coach has over all the announcers on TV but they keep praising him every game and I just don't see it! They're not highly ranked and we've all seen how they collapse in the prevent defense. I'm not even sure the defensive backs are that bad, it may just be how he has them setting up. Well, speculation is that he may be moving, I have an idea, take Les Miles and Norv Turner with you!!!!
Speaking of ole Norv, he got a another chance, so I at least have one more year to talk bad about him, the stupid loser, never won anywhere! I heard he even lost at marbles in elementary on the playground!
I was at a loss yesterday for the Packers/Giants game, I don't like Eli and I don't like Aaron Rogers but, I guess I was just pulling more for the Giants since the packers won it last year but, now I'm a Ravens fan! Without a doubt, nobody on that team I dislike although nobody I really care about neither? So I can watch this game and root against Eli, you know Eli right? The traitor? The "I'm not gonna play for your team or I'll quit? yeah him!
I've got what aafandaman calls a "Shoutout" to Coach Jimmy Allgood who is coaching the ACCS soccer team for their 2nd year of soccer at the school ever! They took their bumps, bruises and bashes last year but this year was different and they proved themselves on the field by beating some pretty good and established teams that have been playing the game of soccer for quite a few years. And it looks like he has a lot of young players on the team as well, so look out for next year!
I still haven't made a basketball game yet but, it's getting closer for me, the games are starting to really mean something now as conference wins are being tallied. I sure would like to see Michael McAnally's team play...I'm lying, I just want to check out those expensive threads while he can still afford them, that new baby will be the one wearing the new threads from here on out!
One good thing about January is that it's that much closer to baseball season and I love me some high school baseball and the Miss-Lou should have some teams that will go deep yet again this year! We've been fortunate to be able to go to just about any ballpark and see some great talent, some talent that will play at the next level, and this year ain't any different!
Timing and luck are a great combination, the wife and I got married on December 5th, 1981, well as her career took of being a hair stylist, it made celebrating our anniversary hard as December is her busiest month (Christmas parties and what-not) So this year being our 30th, we wanted to do something different (I guess going to Dairy Queen isn't special anymore!) So with the help of one of our dear friends (you know who you are M) we are headed to the Redneck Riviera this Thursday along with some friends of ours to just kick back and relax. Now if you're still reading this, there is another point, being that I'll be gone until Monday, I won't be updated this page next week but, I'm sure I'll have a story or two to tell when I get back! Somehow I always have a vacation story, people like to talk to me, sometimes when they don't even want to!
