Here's a nice way to finish of the deer season, I don't know who got this buck, but I bet he's real happy! A 24 point.

Charlie Mascagni (Jr.) got this nice buck, his best ever hunting south of Fayette, MS...a nice 11 point!

This eight point was killed by Adam Byrd (Smurfdaddy's middle son) December 23, 2007. The deer was killed in Leake County at Potted Meat Hunting Club. It had a 22 1/2 " spread and weighed 185 pounds.

Brett Rutland harvested this nice 10 pt. buck with a 16" inside spread and it weighed in at 175 lbs.

Skyler Magee, who is 9, killed his first deer last Monday.  He was hunting with his dad.  It weighed 150 lbs.  He was one excited little boy!! His mom and dad are Tony and Sydney Magee and of course his proud grandparents are Bill and Martha Salters!

This appears to be an antler from another deer that is stuck into the side of his head, do you get to count those also? I don't know who this guy is, this picture was just e-mailed to me.

October 27, 2007 - Kids Hunting for a Cure event - Hunter Meeks (Lincoln County, Tennessee) – Big Buck contest winner.

Text Box: 10-points; 185 lbs; 18.5” inside spread
Daddy and I woke up at 5:00 in the morning on Saturday to go deer hunting. We went to one of our food plots and built a ground blind. After a couple of hours, we saw 2 - 8-pointers, 5 does, and 2 spikes, but could not get a shot at any of them.  After a while, we headed to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds for the St. Jude’s Kids Hunting for a Cure event and to see if any deer had been checked in. We spent a few hours there and decided to go back hunting. When we got back to the woods, we climbed into our tree stand and waited – and waited – and waited. Finally, about 6:00, we saw an 8-pointer come out into the food plot. I got my gun up to get ready to shoot, but Daddy said to wait because there was another buck coming out. It was a big 7-pointer, and we decided to shoot it, but then my Daddy said, “Wait, here comes another one.” The third one was an 8-pointer also, but not as big as the 7-pointer, so we decided that we were still going to shoot the 7-pointer. But then my Daddy said again, “Wait, here comes another one!” It was the 10-pointer. When my daddy saw it, he told me to get my gun ready because he wanted me to shoot the last deer. As I was getting my gun up, the 10-pointer moved in front of the 3rd deer, so my daddy said “Okay, shoot the 3rd deer.” I was confused and asked him “Do you want me to shoot the last deer or the 3rd deer,” and he said “the 3rd deer,” and I said “which one? - the one by the tall grass.” He said “Yes” – then BOOM – I shot him down. The deer fell backwards and flopped around. We high-fived each other, jumped around, and celebrated. We got down from our tree stand, went over to the deer, and prayed – thanking GOD for a wonderful day of hunting and a wonderful deer!

Jarred Martin, hit this nine-point coming home from college last month at 1 a.m. in the morning. He was in front of Concordia Bank in
Vidalia when it went to cross the highway and he pegged it, doing $3200 damage to his truck. Policeman didn't believe him until we found it lying between the bank and post office.

Ricky Brown sent in this picture of a trophy Elk.
